How do you feel about this?! Amazon will soon be increasing the price of their annual Prime membership from $119 to $139 - a whopping 17% increase! Amazon will also be raising the price of a monthly subscription from $12.99 to $14.99. The last time Amazon raised prices for Prime membership was in 2018.
Amazon said it is increasing the price because of ''expanded Prime membership benefits'', such as added Prime Video content and expanded free same-day shipping, as well to compensate for the rising costs of labor and transportation in its distribution network.
The new price will take effect starting February 18th for new Prime members and after March 25th for existing members. Is it still worth the membership cost? Let us know in the comments below!
It might be worth it if I use it a lot but I don't. I have very limited income.
